A series of sight specific plain air oil paintings, painted quickly to capture movement and color of each unique location. Shrubs No. 1 was painted in Encino, CA. Morning poppies come up at Silver Lake park every summer. Best time to catch them is at sun rise. Shrubs No. 3 were painted from memory of Mt. Baldy and Ari Bhod Tibetan Monastery in Tehachapi, CA.
